By the age of 12, I shoveled snow from driveways around my neighbourhood, igniting my passion for business ownership. With a background in real estate and finance, I honed a keen eye for details and an appreciation for home design, understanding how personal touches transform a house into a home. This blend of skills led me to window coverings and interiors, where design meets functionality. I’m excited to collaborate with Charlene to lead Jabot into its next chapter, bringing fresh ideas and a commitment to excellence. I attribute my entrepreneurial spirit to my grandfather, who taught me never to say, “I can’t.” My love for decorating and design was inspired by my grandparents’ beautifully adorned homes. This passion evolved into a career when I joined a prestigious window fashion company and recognized the role of window coverings in completing a home. On April 1, 1990, I opened Jabot Window Coverings in West Vancouver, offering quality window coverings and design services. With service at the core of my business, I’ve built a loyal clientele and a strong referral network over 35 years. Now, with over 5,000 projects completed, and continuing to deliver premier knowledge in window coverings, Jabot also offers interior design, custom furniture, re-upholstering, bedding, and pillows, resulting in homes flowing with lasting style and comfort.
